About Our Wild Game Processing


We have hit our capacity and have no more room for any bone-in deer (whole carcass or quarters). Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

--This will be in affect until 2021 Bow Season.--


At Straka's we process Deer, Elk, Moose, Caribou, Mule Deer, Antelope, and Bear. We take whole, skinned quarters, and boneless trim.

To make the best quality sausage, it takes time and is well worth the wait. Here at Straka’s quality is always our goal. We do this by matching your wild game with pork and beef and adding only top quality natural seasonings. We finish it all off by smoking it with real hickory wood. The scenic drive to our plant in Plain, WI will surely be worth your while.


Any sausage products made with Wild Game will be a 10-12 week turn-round time, we will call you when your order is ready.

When bringing in a whole carcass deer for processing you will get two phone calls. 

  1. when your 'fresh cuts (steaks, chops, roasts & burger) are ready for pick up
  2. when your 'sausage products' are ready for pick up. 
There will be a significant amount of time between these phone calls, please pick up fresh cuts in a timely fashion and sausage products at a later date.

Deposit Required when dropping off any boneless trim ($1.00 per pound of trim) or whole deer for processing ($50.00).

Prices may vary due to fluctuations in Beef and Pork market.

All wild game will be checked when brought in the door. If it is not clean or is old and freezer burnt to the point of where we cannot work with it, we will not accept the meat. Please only white or clear garbage bags, large clear zip-lock bags are the best for boneless trim --No Scented Garbage Bags--. Straka's will only take clean and well taken care of wild game, to give the customer back the best quality product possible.
